CSAE Educational Opportunities
CSAE offers a variety of educational programs for association professionals. Our programs qualify for ASAE CAE points. Programming highlights include:
CSAE Annual Conference is an afternoon event offered in November. It includes a keynote address, educational tracks on a variety of topics, exhibits, an auction, and a reception. It's an excellent educational event for association management professionals and a great networking opportunity. The Annual Conference provides 3 CAE points.
Pre-conference Workshop, which is held the morning of the Annual Conference, has featured nationally renowned speakers on topics of interest to staff working in the association and nonprofit arena. This workshop provides 3 CAE points.
Bimonthly programs are offered January, March, May, July, and September. Registration for these events generally begins at 3:00 p.m. See the education menu for the current events listing. Bimonthly programs provide 2 CAE points.
Association Management from the Ground Up is a half-day program offered annually. This program is also available as a training program that associations can bring onsite for their staff. Call the CSAE office for details, (860) 467-7005. This program provides 3 CAE points.
The Leadership Book Club meets at the Barnes & Noble in Glastonbury, CT. Open to CSAE members, the club discusses books that broaden particpants' leadership skills and knowledge. A professional development exercise, this program provides 1 CAE point.
The Executive Forum is open to CSAE member executive directors and chief executive officers of associations and nonprofits. This "meeting of the minds" is a discussion forum that allows people of similar responsibility talk about thier pressing issues. The Executive Forum provides 1 CAE points.
